Bonnie loves to make things beautiful.  Art, design and decorating have been her passions since an early age and became her profession soon after college.  Bonnie believes you can have a beautiful home on any budget and is constantly creating, reinventing, and DIY-ing projects in her own and clients' homes.  

 

Born in Germany and raised in various places across the United States, the many changing houses and towns she lived in encouraged creativity in decorating a home and an appreciation for a variety of design styles.  Her style can best be described as using classic foundation pieces with a fun mix of color, pattern and unique accessories.  

 

Bonnie graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History, and later took courses in Interior Design from the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York.  After working for a design company for a couple of years, she started Bonnie Cowan Interiors in 2013.  She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and children.
